Step-by-Step Guide
SIM Card Registration under Cardholder's ID
Before starting, visit any telecom branch to purchase a SIM card registered strictly under the National ID of the primary cardholder. This phone number serves as your account verification and where all OTPs and system update SMS notifications are received.
Madam Afaf Tip: Captain! Do not use your wife's or son's phone number and expect the system to just pass it! The portal is linked dynamically to telecom databases and will silently drop your application with no reason. The line MUST be owned by the primary cardholder themselves for things to work smoothly!
Log In to Digital Egypt Portal
Go to the Digital Egypt portal (digital.gov.eg). If you don't have an account, click 'Register New Account' and fill in your National ID, factory number (located below your portrait on your ID), and your mother's first name. Confirm using the OTP code sent to your registered mobile.
Select Supply Services & Add Members
Once logged in, navigate to 'Supply' (Tamween) services, select 'Add Newborns' or 'Join Family Members'. Enter the child's National ID, relationship (son/daughter), and click confirm after uploading a clear scan of the birth certificate.
Track Request Status & Start Cashing Support
The local Supply Office will review the submitted details, verify relation ties, and audit income status. Review takes around 14 to 30 days. Once approved, the child is added to the active family list and you can cash out their food shares and bread points next month.
